A year ago today, Michail Antonio became the first opposing player to score at Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium. His goal helped the Hammers beat Spurs 1-0, and the east Londoners became the first team to win away at the north London club’s new home.

And the 30-year-old has marked the year anniversary by posting a video of the goal to his official Twitter account…

Antonio signed for the Hammers from Nottingham Forest for just £7 million in the summer of 2015 (BBC).
And he has gone on to become somewhat of a cult hero in east London.
Antonio is absolutely adored by the West Ham fans.
The pacy forward has racked up 30 goals and 21 assists in 145 games for the Hammers (Transfermarkt).
Antonio could become a West Ham legend
The 30-year-old is unquestionably one of David Moyes’ most important players at the London Stadium.
West Ham are currently in real relegation trouble.
And when the Premier League season eventually resumes, Antonio will be vitally important to their hopes of avoiding the drop this term.
He’s already a fan favourite. but if he can fire the Hammers to safety, he could very well become a club legend.
