Manuel Pellegrini recruited creative midfielders for West Ham this summer, but the absence of Manuel Lanzini is still being acutely felt.
The Argentine midfielder is a long-term absentee, but the club recently offered an update on his condition.
At the three month stage of his recovery, physio Richard Collinge and Lanzini’s consultant Dr Cugat are ‘very happy’ with the playmaker’s progress so far.

Lanzini is doing a variety of types of work; bed-based, mobilisation and balance work, in order to aid his recovery.
His attitude appears to be impressing the physios as well, which all bodes well ahead of his return. And, judging from the reaction of the fans to the video, they are keen to see him in Hammers colours again as soon as possible.
