West Ham put in yet another poor display today, this time at home to Leicester.
And one particular player received heavy criticism from the club’s fans – Carlos Sanchez.
The 33-year-old joined the Hammers from Fiorentina in the summer of 2018, for a fee believed to be worth £3.9 million, according to Viola Nation.
He has been an absolute disaster for West Ham, however.
Sanchez, an 88-capped Colombia international, has made just 16 appearances for the Hammers. And he has failed to make any kind of impact whatsoever in those outings.
The former Aston Villa and Fiorentina midfielder is quite clearly not good enough for West Ham, and he is certainly not good enough for the Premier League.
How Sanchez is still part of the Hammers squad is actually mind-blowing. The good news is that he is out of contract in the summer (£50k-a-week according to Spotrac), so he will surely be moved on.
Every single time he has played since he joined West Ham, he has done more harm than good.
And some Hammers fans once again slated him for his shocking display against the Foxes today…
