Sebastien Haller sat down for an interview with the club’s official website, and named Luka Jovic as the best player he has ever played with.

The Frenchman and the Serbian struck up a potent partnership for Eintracht Frankfurt last season. Haller bagged 20 goals in 41 outings for the German side, whilst Jovic scored 27 goals in 48 games.

The partnership was broke up before the start of this season, however.

The 25-year-old left Frankfurt for West Ham for around £45 million in the summer, whilst the 21-year-old joined Real Madrid for £55 million.

And Haller told WHUFC.com how Jovic is the best player he has ever played with:

“Luka Jovic at Eintracht. He has signed for Real Madrid, so he had the craziest move of the people I played with.”

There have been rumours that the two players could be reunited at the London Stadium, with Jovic allegedly being available on loan in January. That seems to be extremely unlikely, however.

The Hammers would undoubtedly have to pay a hefty loan fee for the Serb. And the West Ham board are unlikely to sanction a deal like that.

The West Ham fans will more than likely have to make do with Haller leading the line for the foreseeable future. And if he plays to his potential, that is no bad thing.
