West Ham left-back Aaron Cresswell suggested that he loves playing at Selhurst Park, when speaking exclusively to the club’s official website, whilst taking time to praise the Crystal Palace fans.

The Hammers travel to south London on Boxing Day to take on the Eagles. And it should be a cracker of a game.

Palace currently sit in 12th spot in the table, four points ahead of West Ham, and a win for either side would really set them up for a successful Christmas period.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side will be confident of making it two Premier League wins in a row on Thursday.

The Hammers have a decent record at Selhurst Park. They have won three and drawn two of their last five trips to Palace.

And Cresswell told WHUFC.com how much he loves playing at the Eagles’ home:

“I love playing at Selhurst Park, too. The fans are always noisy and the atmosphere will be good, as it’s another London derby.”

Palace have been far from infallible at home this season, winning three, losing three and drawing three of their nine Premier League games at Selhurst Park.

So if West Ham are on their best form, they should have every chance of beating the Eagles.

It should be a great game of football whatever happens, and can be seen exclusively live on Amazon Prime.
