We’re about to see the best of Graham Potter with two players set to completely transform West Ham

Graham Potter’s West Ham United are about to become a completely different animal.

West Ham endured a disastrous first half of the season with Julen Lopetegui at the helm, and Graham Potter has some seriously difficult tasks on his hands if he is to clear up the mess left behind by the Spaniard.

The Hammers have allegedly made a move to sign Noah Okafor, but Potter will need to bring in many more players if he is to succeed at the London Stadium.

Our squad is so weak right now, and the summer transfer window business conducted by West Ham now looks plain awful.

We have no pace in attack and no legs in midfield.

That all has to change in the January transfer window, and I’m convinced that it will.

However, in the here and now, there are internal solutions available to Potter.

Two players will transform Graham Potter’s West Ham

The Hammers face Aston Villa away this weekend, followed by games against Chelsea, Brentford and Arsenal.

It will be incredibly tough for West Ham to pick up anything more than three points from those outings.

But help is on it’s way at least…

We have struggled to produce any kind of decent football during our last two Premier League outings under Potter.

However, the 49-year-old has been hamstrung by his inability to call upon some of his best attacking players.

That is all set to change though, with Jarrod Bowen and Crysencio Summerville set to return to action very soon indeed.

Summerville should be back in time for our game against Aston Villa this weekend.

Meanwhile, Bowen is due back on February 3rd for our clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Having the former Leeds winger and our captain back from injury will transform Potter’s Hammers team immediately.

He will then be able to set up with a front three of Summerville, Bowen and Mohammed Kudus, with Lucas Paqueta slotted in behind them.

West Ham haven’t possessed any kind of attacking threat at all really over the past two games.

Even when we scored three against Fulham, we only had four shots on goal.

Jarrod Bowen and Crysencio Summerville will add some much-needed pace and movement to our attacking play, and I’m convinced that we’ll see a different West Ham under Graham Potter when they both return to the team.
