The Swansea game seems like a long time ago now, and it won’t ever be forgotten due to the antics of Flores. When Carroll got sent off, the majority of fans felt that the next 3 games we could win, would become a little harder and we could look back on that as the downfall of the season but it has turned out to be the opposite.

The last 3 games have been amazing and I didn’t expect the wins. Especially against Southampton who are a good side, there have been a few reasons why we’ve made the most out of the 3 games. The anger, I think the players and manager put all the frustration of the wrongful sending off onto the pitch and showed real determination in every game. Kevin Nolan was back to best and was obviously a massive part of it, getting goals and assists just when we needed it to take the pressure off and we have certainly missed that all season.

I was critical when we took Carlton Cole back but in the absence of Carroll and at times in the rest of the season he has been good and scored goal’s which is what he is there to do and put in another impressive performance on Saturday and again was hard for defenders to deal with. In terms of Everton next week I have no question that Carroll should come straight back into the starting line-up but Cole has done well the past few games.

Adrian has been amazing again, I know he could of equalled a record on Saturday but we let in one goal which should of really been defended better but we still got the 3 points so that’s what matters and he performed really well again so that’s all we can ask.

Everton is going to be a really tough game, nothing ever goes for us when we play them and we seem to struggle more against them than any other team but hopefully we can get a point at least. COYI.
