Ray Parlour suggested that West Ham midfielder Jack Wilshere simply hasn’t got it anymore, when speaking to talkSPORT this morning (September 11th, 7:22am).

The 28-year-old joined the Hammers on a free transfer in the summer of 2018 after his contract had expired with Arsenal.
He has experienced a really tough time at the London Stadium, however.
And it now seems that Wilshere is surplus to requirements under David Moyes.
ExWHUemployee claimed yesterday that West Ham are looking into terminating the 34-capped England international’s current contract, when speaking on the West Ham Way podcast.
In some ways, Wilshere’s demise has been a slow and painful one to watch.
And Ray Parlour admitted that the former Arsenal man’s fall from grace is a real shame, when speaking to talkSPORT this morning:
“It’s such a shame. You have got to be physically fit now to be in the Premier League, and I am afraid he just can’t do it. I don’t know where he goes from here. If they can get a deal where they cancel his contract, he gets a pay-off, where’s his next move? That’s going to be interesting.”
Wilshere earns a whopping £100k-a-week at West Ham (Spotrac). The 28-year-old has made just 18 appearances for the Hammers. So he clearly hasn’t offered us any kind of value whatsoever.
Moving the perennial injury crock on is 100 per cent the right call. Even if that means paying him off.
West Ham need to get away from signing injury prone players who are past their best on massive wages.
And getting rid of Wilshere would go a long way to transforming what has become a broken culture at the London Stadium.
