And more protests are planned ahead of the Southampton game next month.
Results on the pitch have left the Hammers in a precarious position above the bottom three by virtue of a slightly superior goal difference.
That comes under threat tonight when champions-elect Liverpool come to the London Stadium.
West Ham media team post gushing Liverpool article
Liverpool’s unrelenting brilliance has been there for all to see this season.
But quite what West Ham’s media team were thinking when they posted a gushing article about the Reds on the club’s website is anyone’s guess.
The article listed five reasons to watch the game, with full focus on Liverpool rather than the Hammers. The club even highlighted the watching Trent Alexander-Arnold as one of the reasons.
Incredulous supporters were quick to vent their fury at what they were reading.
Fans took to social media to highlight the article, which was quickly altered by West Ham’s media team after the backlash.

The original article effectively listed four reasons to watch Liverpool and only one about West Ham.
The edited version later tried to redress the balance by including Lukasz Fabianski, Michail Antonio and David Martin (whufc.com).
In the grand scheme of things it is not a big deal.
But many feel it was further evidence how out of touch the club is with supporters.
It comes after the club were accused of lacking class by failing to recognise the return of much-loved former player and manager Slaven Bilic and West Ham legend Julian Dicks at the weekend.
It also evoked memories of the time West Ham infamously tried to a match against Manchester City using the catch line ‘Come and watch Man City’s superstars’.

Needless to say West Ham fans were far from happy.
