According to a report from the Mirror, Sky Sports and BT Sport are discussing showing all Saturday 3pm fixtures as part of an emergency coronavirus plan. And West Ham fans will surely be delighted to hear that news.

They could reportedly show all the 3pm kick-offs on the ‘red button feature’ for existing customers if the Premier League are forced to play all of the remaining fixtures behind-closed-doors.

The Hammers are currently embroiled in a real relegation battle. David Moyes’s side are sitting in 16th spot in the table, but they are level on points with 18th placed Bournemouth.

West Ham are also only two points clear of 19th placed Aston Villa, having played a game more than Dean Smith’s side.

Next up for the Hammers is a home game against Wolves, followed by a trip to Tottenham and a home game against Chelsea.

The Premier League is currently scheduled to resume on April 30th. But there is no guarantee that that will actually happen.

Much will depend on how well the coronavirus is contained the British people, the government and our incredible NHS.

If action does return at the end of next month, however, and the teams are forced to play behind closed doors, it seems as though all games could be shown live.

So at least the West Ham fans will still be able to keep a close eye on their side’s battle against the drop.
