West Ham dropped two valuable points at home to Brighton on Saturday.

Having led by two goals on two separate occasions during the match, the Hammers players would have been just as devastated with the draw as the fans were.

David Moyes’s side are firmly entrenched in a relegation battle. They currently sit inside the bottom three, one point adrift of safety.

And things might very well be about to get a whole lot worse for West Ham. The east London outfit’s next two games are away at Manchester City and Liverpool.

And with that in mind, Saturday’s draw with Brighton really was a bitterly disappointing result.

So it was no surprise to see some West Ham players take to Twitter to share their frustration at having not beaten the Seagulls:

The West Ham players really need to start digging in and showing some fight. They also need to stop making so many individual schoolboy errors.

In all fairness, Antonio and Snodgrass are two players who should be immune from criticism considering the effort they put in week-in, week-out.

And if the rest of the Hammers squad do not match their work-rate, passion and intensity, West Ham could very well be doomed this season.
