West Ham ace Declan Rice should be fit for Saturday’s clash with Everton, according to a report from Football Insider.

The 20-year-old missed England’s clash with Bulgaria on Monday night due to illness. And Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini would have been worried that Rice might not be ready for the weekend.

The youngster has been in excellent form for West Ham over the past 15 months or so. He has firmly established himself as one of the Premier League’s best holding midfield players.

Rice has been rewarded for his fine form with a call-up to the England national team.

The 20-year-old will be a vitally important player for both club and country over the next decade or so.

And he is undoubtedly one of the first names on Pellegrini’s West Ham team-sheet.

So Hammers fans will be delighted to hear the news that Rice is expected to be fit to face Everton on Saturday (Football Insider).

West Ham will be keen to bounce back from their defeat to Crystal Palace with a win on Saturday, but Everton will be equally desperate for all three points.

So having Rice available for selection will be crucial for the east London outfit.
