West Ham ace Michail Antonio could be out of action until February, according to Claret and Hugh.
The 29-year-old began his 2019/20 campaign in fine fashion, so losing him for such a prolonged period of time will be a real blow for the Hammers.
Antonio’s game is based on power and explosive pace, so West ham fans will be hoping that his injury doesn’t adversely affect him too much whenever he does eventually make his return.
The likes of Andriy Yarmolenko and Robert Snodgrass will now have to step up in the Englishman’s absence.
The former Nottingham Forest man joined the Hammers in the summer of 2015 for around £7 million. And he has gone on to rack up 28 goals and 18 assists in 132 appearances in all competitions for the east London outfit.
He is a real fan favourite at the London Stadium. And without his pace and direct playing style, West Ham might just struggle to stretch their opponents.
And Hammers fans will be praying that Antonio returns to action sooner than what has been reported.
