Report: Pellegrini convinces West Ham owners that he can turn things around during crunch talks

According to a report from the Guardian, West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini convinced the club’s owners that he is the man to turn things around during crunch talks yesterday.

The Hammers are in all sorts of trouble at the moment.

A run of one win in 10 Premier League games has seen them fall down to 16th spot in the table, just one point clear of the drop zone.

West Ham have no playing identity whatsoever, and things are looking really bleak.

Hammers fans have had enough. They are sick and tired of the manager and the board. After bring sold dreams of Champions League football and ‘the next level’ after moving to the London Stadium, all they have been given is heartache and disappointment.

West Ham face Southampton this weekend, and if they lose and Aston Villa beat Sheffield United they will be inside the bottom three at Christmas.

It is little wonder why the club’s fans are furious.

The east London outfit have become the laughing stock of the Premier League. And the longer that Pellegrini is in charge, the worse things will get.

The Chilean deserves to be sacked now. Why wait for one more game? Why not pull the trigger now?

The West Ham fans believe it’s time for the 66-year-old to go. And they have every right to think that.
