David Moyes was brought in to steady the ship at West Ham at the end of December. But it hasn’t quite worked out. And Football.London claims that if the Hammers get relegated, the Scot will almost certainly lose his job at the London Stadium.
The 56-year-old has won just two Premier League games since returning to east London.
West Ham are currently sitting in 16th spot in the Premier League table, But they are only outside the relegation zone because of a superior goal difference to those in and around them in the table.
The Hammers have some really tough games on the horizon as well, when or more likely if Premier League actions eventually resumes.
So relegation is a very real threat for West Ham this season.
And Football.London claims that if the Hammers do go down, Moyes will almost certainly be sacked from his post as West Ham boss.
And there probably would not be too many Hammers fans who would be disappointed if that happened.
Moyes’s football is dull and predictable. He lacks any kind of charisma or personality. And his Premier League win rate of just 20% since his return to the club is quite frankly not good enough.
In truth, even if West Ham do stay up, they owners should still consider ending the Scot’s reign at the London Stadium.
