According to a report from Claret and Hugh, West Ham midfielder Jack Wilshere is set to miss out YET AGAIN today.

The 27-year-old joined the Hammers on a free transfer in the summer of 2018. But he has failed to establish himself at the London Stadium.

Wilshere has made only 16 appearances for West Ham, racking up just one goal and one assist in those outings.

Injuries have wreaked havoc with the former Arsenal man’s career, but after a full week of training, the midfielder was expected to be available for today’s clash with Tottenham.

Claret and Hugh claims that that isn’t the case, however, with Wilshere set to miss out due to a stomach pain. You really couldn’t make it up.

Despite the fact that Wilshere has made little impact for West Ham, it will still be a blow for the east London outfit having him unavailable for selection today.

The 34-capped England international would surely have raised his game against Tottenham. And with Mark Noble not 100 per cent fit, it would have been handy having Wilshere as an option.

But as has so often been the case before, Mr Sick-note himself has proven to be unreliable as ever.

And with this latest setback, his future at West Ham looks very bleak indeed.
