West Ham United still have a harder run-in than Tottenham and Nottingham Forest in the final ten games of the Premier League season.
The relegation battle could well go down to the wire. Assuming that Wolves and Burnley are already down, there are only four points between West Ham United in 18th and Spurs in 16th.
All the momentum, however, is with the Hammers. Forest, who are 17th, are only two points ahead of former manager Nuno Espirito Santo and his Irons side.
How do these appointments make you feel about the relegation battle? 👀
Still, while optimism is high here in east London, nothing has been achieved yet and there are some difficult games to come.
With that in mind, here’s a look as Hammers News ranks the final ten games for each of the aforementioned three sides.
West Ham – hardest
Fixtures remaining: Fulham (A), Man City (H), Aston Villa (A), Wolves (H), Crystal Palace (A), Everton (H), Brentford (A), Arsenal (H), Newcastle (A), Leeds (H)
The Hammers were in fine form until recently but ran into an issue when West Ham lost 5-2 to Liverpool.
Nuno’s side also have to play title-chasing Manchester City and Arsenal, as well as Aston Villa and Newcastle.
Games against Wolves and Fulham look winnable on paper, albeit with the obvious caveat that the Irons have already lost to both.

Forest? Leeds?……Spurs? 🙏
Nottingham Forest – slightly easier
Fixtures remaining: Manchester City (A), Fulham (H), Tottenham (A), Aston Villa (H), Burnley (H), Sunderland (A), Chelsea (A), Newcastle (H), Manchester United (A), Bournemouth (H)
Forest lead West Ham by two points and while they lost to Liverpool last weekend, they did impress under ex-Wolves coach Vitor Pereira.
While not to suggest they have an easy run-in, it certainly looks slightly more straightforward than West Ham’s.
City, Villa, Chelsea, Newcastle and Manchester United are the top teams they have to face, and not all of those convince.
Forest also get the chance to play Spurs in what could be a huge six-pointer.
West Ham would surely rather have their fixture list.
Tottenham – easiest
Fixtures remaining: Crystal Palace (H), Liverpool (A), Nottingham Forest (H), Sunderland (A), Brighton (A), Wolves (A), Aston Villa (A), Leeds (H), Chelsea (A), Everton (H)
Spurs undoubtedly have the kindest run in, at least on paper.
Liverpool, Sunderland, Villa and Chelsea are the only teams one would imagine could beat Spurs – if they hadn’t seen them play this season.
Igor Tudor has a kind looking fixture list but whether he can actually yield something out of this team remains to be seen.
On paper, Spurs should stay up. They are, however, in genuine freefall and not many would expect them to pick up many points in the games they have remaining.
