West Ham have a couple of weeks off before they’re back in action in the Premier League on September 16th.

The Hammers have made a decent start. They sit in seventh spot in the table, having taken seven points from their opening four matches.

So let’s take a look at how they might fare in their next four Premier League games…

The Villans have made a slow start to life back in the Premier League, so West Ham will fancy their chances at Villa Park.

Dean Smith’s men are a decent outfit, however, and they will be well up for the visit of the Hammers.

Both sides are good going forward, but seem rather fragile at the back.

Prediction: 2-2

The Red Devils have looked far from assured during their first four games, and the Hammers should have every chance of turning them over at home.

On their day, West Ham can beat anyone, and if their big name players turn up, United could be in for a difficult afternoon in east London.

Prediction: 3-1

Bournemouth (a)

West Ham have a poor recent record at the Vitality Stadium, having taken just one point from their last three visits to the south coast.

The Hammers seem like a different team this season, however, and will be confident of leaving Bournemouth with something to show for their efforts.

Prediction: 1-1

Crystal Palace (h)

Palace, like West Ham, have made a fine start to the season.

On paper, however, the Hammers should be blowing sides like the Eagles away with ease.

Palace will undoubtedly be organised, however, and will represent a stern test for West Ham.

Prediction: 2-1

Eight points from a possible 12 would be a fantastic return for West Ham before heading into the second international break of the season.

And that should be more than enough to keep them inside the European places.
