This is a clear and direct message to West Ham United owner David Sullivan.
If you want to make West Ham great again, Julen Lopetegui has to go now, regardless of the result against Everton on Saturday.
David Sullivan appointed the former Wolves, Sevilla and Real Madrid boss to replace David Moyes just over four months ago.
However, the Hammers co-owner is apparently weighing up whether to sack Lopetegui after a poor start to the season, and the Spaniard could be gone if his players fail to ‘convincingly’ beat Everton.
The 58-year-old’s rein at the London Stadium has been tarnished by a complete lack of footballing identity and no discernible patterns of play on the pitch, and a lack of any kind of personality off of it.
It has been claimed that the likes of Edin Terzic are already being lined up to replace Lopetegui, and I’d be all for the Slaven Bilic’s former number two returning to the London Stadium.

However, if Sullivan does decide to move on the current West Ham head coach, I think he should look elsewhere.
The man who could actually take us to the next level is out there literally crying out for a return to the Premier League.
Appoint Jose Mourinho and make West Ham great again
I think it’s time that Sullivan made a big statement by bringing Jose Mourinho to the London Stadium.
The 61-year-old was heavily linked with taking over as the new West Ham manager in the summer, but he moved out to Turkey to fill the Fenerbahce hot-seat in the end.
Now’s the time for the Hammers to bring Jose back to London.
Sure, he’s a well-renowned pragmatist, when it comes to his tactics on the pitch.
However, he is far from that off the field of play – he’s pure theatre, and some might say ‘box office’.
Mourinho has an aura that can be matched by few in the game, possibly not one single manager.
And I can promise you something – the West Ham players would absolutely love to play for him.
I’m not sure the same can be said for Lopetegui right now. In fact, I feel strongly that Edson Alvarez and Mohammed Kudus have fallen out with the Spaniard behind the scenes.
Mourinho would command instant respect from the squad of players at the London Stadium, purely because of his incredible footballing CV.
And let’s be real here, his football isn’t as bad as people make out, it really isn’t.
His Fenerbahce team have averaged just under 52% possession this season (Fbref).
During his three seasons in charge of Roma his team averaged well over 50% possession in two of those campaigns.
His style of football is not as bad as people make out, and is in no way on the same boring, bland level as the systems of Moyes and Lopetegui.
People would do well to go back and watch his Chelsea team from 20 years ago!
Ironically, Jose Mourinho would bring the fun back to West Ham
Mourinho would bring entertainment back to the London Stadium. With Lopetegui in charge, the place feels like a morgue right now.

The Hammers lack any kind of direction or real leadership, and Jose would bring us that in spades.
His latest eight-minute rant was yet another attempt to force the Fenerbahce owners into sacking him, in my opinion.
He knows that his enormous wages and buyout clause will prevent any club from trying to poach him, so what better way to facilitate a Premier League return than getting the sack?
If the Hammers owners did appoint the Portuguese, his press conferences alone would be a pleasure to watch.
And I believe he’d get us back into the fight for the European places as well.
Whilst some people will say Jose sucks the life out of football clubs with his bland approach to the game, I disagree. I think he’d do the complete opposite to the Hammers, and breath fire and life back into us.
Come on Sullivan, appoint Jose Mourinho and make West Ham great again.
