Now bring Harvey Barnes and Viktor Gyokeres to West Ham as fates are sealed after an up and down season for the Hammers.

It was not that long ago West Ham fans feared they could be one of the clubs sweating on the final day of the season.

In the end the Hammers were safe with games to spare.

And it did show for long spells in the final day defeat at Leicester where all West Ham eyes were clearly on the huge Europa Conference League final against Fiorentina in 10 days.

Leicester’s 2-1 win over West Ham was not enough to keep them up after Everton’s 1-0 victory over Bournemouth.

After Luton’s fiarytale win over Coventry City in the Championship play-off final, next season’s Premier League contingent was confirmed.

West Ham will be part of that of course. Leicester City and Coventry won’t. And the Hammers must use that to their advantage.

Now bring Harvey Barnes and Viktor Gyokeres to West Ham as fates are sealed after up and down season.

West Ham have been heavily linked with both Barnes and Coventry striker Gyokeres in recent months.

That speculation is sure to intensify now the fates of their clubs have been sealed.

There is no way Gyokeres will remain at Coventry after their unfortunate failure to reach the top flight.

The Sun recently claimed David Moyes has been personally attending Coventry games to run the rule over former Brighton prospect Gyokeres.

West Ham would be so much more dynamic if they can land Barnes and Gyokeres

And earlier this month Sky Sports claimed one of its sources has confirmed West Ham are seriously interested in signing Gyokeres this summer.

The likes of Football.London have claimed West Ham want Barnes as Moyes eyes more British players in the summer window.

Both would be excellent signings.

Said Benrahma has been one of West Ham’s better players this season. But he often frustrates with his end product. Barnes is much quicker and more direct while possessing a more clinical finish too – as he showed with his excellently taken goal against the Hammers.

With the futures of 33-year-old Michail Antonio, Danny Ings and Gianluca Scamacca all in question this summer, West Ham will almost certainly be signing at least one forward.

Gyokeres looks like the perfect all-action, powerful, hard-working heir to Antonio. And he is said to be available for around £20m.

If West Ham can get deals done for those two players they will have a much fresher, more dynamic look next season.
