Robert Snodgrass chalked up yet another assist for West Ham against Liverpool at Anfield last night.
And many neutral fans were impressed with the Scot’s display.
The 32-year-old, who earns £50,000 per week according to Football Insider, has received plenty of criticism from Hammers fans since he moved to the London Stadium from Hull City for around £10.2 million in January 2017 (BBC).
But Snodgrass has defied the critics this season.
The Scot has racked up five goals and five assists in 22 Premier League outings (Transfermarkt). And he has more goal contributions than any other West Ham player.
The 32-year-old always puts a real shift in and works his socks off for his team.
Snodgrass also possesses one of the most dangerous set-piece deliveries in the Premier League.
Most West Ham fans, if they are being honest, will admit that their criticism of the former Leeds United and Hull City man earlier on this season was a little harsh to say the least.
And the reaction to Snodgrass’s display against Liverpool last night from some neutral fans prove that maybe we take the 32-year-old for granted…
