The Hammers are currently sitting in fifth spot in the Premier League table and can jump inside the top four with a win over Tottenham at the London Stadium tomorrow.
Things are really looking up in East London. David Moyes deserves all the credit in the world for the manner in which he has totally transformed West Ham as a football club over such a short period of time.
The Hammers are absolutely loving life at the moment.
It is such a pleasure to watch Moyes’s side play at the moment. We are no longer a pushover and it seems as though we will always give any side a proper game.

West Ham myth busted
The Hammers fans have long been known as a knowledgeable bunch. Many fans outside of East London believe that we are too expectant and want to see our players producing miracles week in week out.
West Ham has been known as the academy of football since the days of Bobby Moore, Sir Geoff Hurst and Sir Trevor Brooking.
Of course the Hammers fans love watching good football. That goes without saying.
But if we’re being honest here, the only thing the West Ham faithful really expect from the players is hard work and endeavour.
In fact, that is what we like seeing the most.
For every mercurial talent West Ham have had throughout the years there have been hard working players ready to die for the cause.
For every Trevor Brooking there has been a Billy Bonds. For every Paolo Di Canio there has been a Julian Dicks.

At Upton Park, moments of magic and skill were appreciated. But there was nothing that would get the fans off their seats quicker than a crunching sliding tackle.
The same can be said of the fans since we moved to the London Stadium.
It’s no coincidence that some of the most popular Hammers players are Declan Rice, Tomas Soucek, Vladimir Coufal and Michail Antonio – all hard working athletes.
It would be silly to say that the West Ham fans don’t appreciate good football. That goes without saying. But it’s hard work and genuine commitment that really gets our juices flowing.
