West Ham fans have another celebrity fan to add to the list after Maya Jama, TV presenter and ex-girlfriend of grime star Stormzy, declared her love for the club.

West Ham fans will know all about their association with world famous former glamour girl Mia Khalifa.

The actress turned sports nut pinned her flag to the West Ham mast when she visited England last season.

Khalifa was a special guest when West Ham secured their first home win over Arsenal for 13 years last term.

Khalifa won Hammers fans hearts with Guendouzi dig

And she instantly won the approval of Hammers fans for trolling Gunners star Mateo Guendouzi for diving (SportBible).

Apparently Khalifa’s love for West Ham stems from her obsession with the film Green Street.

West Ham supporters thought she would be a Hammer for life when she donned the new home kit over 5,000 miles away in the Mojave desert as she stopped off during a visit to Area 51.

Move over Mia, Hammers have Maya

Now West Ham can count on the support of Jama. That’s after she revealed she is a West Ham fan and will be attending next Sunday’s crucial home game against Wolves.

“No. West Ham x,” Jama replied when a fan asked her is she supported Arsenal, the Hammers’s opponents on Saturday.

It was then revealed by grime DJ Logan Sama – himself a West Ham fan – that Jama had accompanied him to watch West Ham beat Liverpool 3-1 at Upton Park in an Instagram video saying she was a good luck charm.

Jama agreed and revealed they would be heading to the London Stadium for the Wolves game next weekend.

“Loool yupp. We’re rolling next Sunday,” Jama added on Twitter.

Maya ‘lucky charm’ for West Ham

She later clarified she was a West Ham fan after pictures emerged of her wearing various shirts on social media from her time on TV show Football Virgin where Jama visited a host of clubs.

“For those that don’t know I used to be a football presenter on @Copa90 when I was like 18 and one of the series I hosted was “football virgin” – still on YouTube now – ended up choosing Bristol Rovers as my home team cause of the fam and later loved West Ham,” Jama explained.

So there you have it West Ham fans another famous name to add to the list.

Hammers fans will be hoping she is their lucky charm again as they bid to try and get the four wins needed to stave off relegation this season.
