West Ham United’s bitter rivals Millwall are planning a trip down memory lane to wind up their old adversaries today.
With football shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic, clubs have been left in limbo.
West Ham were in the thick of an intense battle against relegation before the enforced break.
Meanwhile Millwall are right in the promotion mix to join the Hammers in the Premier League or even – unthinkably – perhaps replace them.
The dearth of football, and players being told to remain at home for now has left club media teams scratching their heads for content.

Millwall plan West Ham wind-up
West Ham and Millwall are no different.
But the Millwall team are planning a West Ham wind up this afternoon which some supporters find hilarious.
Today marks 16 years since Millwall thrashed West Ham 4-1 in a Championship game at the Den.
And Millwall will run blow by blow commentary as if the game was happening live from midday.
West Ham’s fierce rivals will also be broadcasting the entire match again for fans to watch.
“Tomorrow is 16 years since we beat this lot 4-1!” Millwall posted on Twitter last night.

Mother’s Day Massacre to be shown in full 16 years on
“To remember that special afternoon, we’ll be filling tomorrow’s timeline with various moments from the day.
“You’ll also be able to watch the whole game back at 12pm.”
The match went on to be known as the Mother’s Day Massacre by Millwall fans.
Now supporters of both clubs have been reacting. Millwall have been taunting the Hammers about the famous result.
And some West Ham fans think it is either funny, pathetic, embarrassing or cringeworthy.

‘Whatever makes your existence tolerable’
Here are a selection of comments from both sets of fans on Twitter.
