Wets Ham were extremely poor against Crystal Palace yesterday.

The Hammers took the lead through a Robert Snodgrass strike, but ended up losing the game 2-1.

And in truth, they deserved nothing more.

Manuel Pellegrini is under real pressure. West Ham fans want him gone. But the board are reluctant to sack the Chilean with 18 months still to run on his expensive contract.

The Hammers now face back-to-back games against Leicester City and Bournemouth respectively.

And if West Ham are not careful, they could easily be in the relegation places in time for the turn of the year.

In spite of all the recent doom and gloom, there has been one shining light over the past few weeks – Michail Antonio.

The powerful forward gives the Hammers something completely different and he has been a constant menace to opposition players over the past few games

He wasn’t at his brilliant best against Palace yesterday, but he did set up Robert Snodgrass for West Ham’s opener. And he gave 100 per cent for the entirety of the match.

And Antonio took to Twitter after the match, offering an apology to the Hammers fans…
