Mark Noble makes an observation about West Ham fans

Mark Noble spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, and suggested that he can tell before a game starts what kind of mood the West Ham fans are in by how they sing ‘Bubbles’.

The Hammers fans have been criticised by some pundits in recent weeks for conducting and taking part in protests aimed at co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold and vice-chairman Karren Brady.

They have always stuck behind the team 100 per cent, however, and that must not be lost in all of this.

The London Stadium was at its vociferous best on Saturday when West Ham played host to Southampton.

And Noble told WHUFC.com how he can usually tell what the Hammers fans are going to be like based upon how much effort they put into signing ‘Bubbles’:

“You can normally tell before the game what the fans are going to be like when they sing Bubbles, and [today] it was really loud. They were right behind us and I thought they were great. They helped us out and we got the three points.”

West Ham have to try and make the London Stadium a fortress between now and the end of the season.

In their final 10 games, they face home clashes with Wolves, Chelsea, Burnley, Watford and Aston Villa.

If they can get 10 points from those games, they will be in with a great chance of avoiding the drop this season.

And the Hammers fas will have a big part to play.
