2:30 PM: Unfortunately, that’s all we have time for this afternoon as Moyes has now finished addressing us here at the club’s Training Ground, I sincerely hope that you’ve enjoyed our coverage on this Friday afternoon where the West Ham Boss has talked to the Media before tomorrow’s visit of Bournemouth at the London Stadium.

We also hope that you will join us again from 1 PM tomorrow afternoon (Saturday 20 January 2018) for another Live Blog of the match in question, including live and exclusive, build-up, text commentary and reaction from the London Stadium, you won’t want to miss it, please do keep your eyes peeled across our platforms for further reaction from this Press Conference and hopefully see you tomorrow, I’ve been Luke Glanville live from Rush Green, thank you once again and goodbye.

On The Decisions That Went Against Him At The Vitality Stadium:

“Well the decision, the goal shouldn’t have stood and we’ve had confirmation on Mike Riley on that, it shouldn’t have stood the goal and it doesn’t change the fact that we could have taken three points.

But, I’ve got to say there was other parts of the game when Bournemouth could have beaten us easily as well, it could have gone either way the game and maybe, in the end, the draw was the right result”.

On His Targets For The Rest Of The Season:

“I’ve set no targets for the players, but ultimately I think 40 was always the magic figure, I might stand corrected but I think even the odd year when 41 wasn’t enough, I think over the years it was the magic figure, it might not take that this year, I don’t know but I think the sooner you get to it then the better chance you have of staying in the Premier League”.

On The Joao Mario Rumours:

“I think he’s a name which has been mentioned, but again, whether he’s from Inter Milan or Chelsea or anywhere, I wouldn’t talk about the players from other clubs, he’s an interesting player, he’s a good Footballer and certainly very talented”.

On The Future Of The Club’s Strikers:

“I can see a situation where more of them play, or they play more games because well, we’ve got an injury to Andy, we’re not in any hurry to lose any players let me tell you if anything, I’ve said many times I’d like to add.

So, I’m not in a hurry to lose them, it just so happens that we’ve got four or five strikers which can all o a really good job and we’ve also got one or two who are in the team just now and playing well, so, it’s one of these things, you have to be ready, wait your time and when your chance comes, make sure you take it”.

On Whether Or Not He Made An Attempt To Re-Call Robert Snodgrass:

“No, I never did, the first person on the phone would have been Steve Bruce or Steve Round because I know them both really well, no I think that it’s something we have had a think about, but under the rules, he’s with them and obviously, he’s doing very well for Aston Villa”.

On The Michy Batshuayi Rumours:

“Well, we never said we were interested, I try not to talk about other players at other clubs because I’m there to watch a game and I wasn’t necessarily there to watch any individual”.

On Being At Stamford Bridge On Wednesday Night:

“I’m smiling because I’m amazed that folk would be surprised that a Manager is away watching another game, I mean I think that it’s part of our job as a Manager but I think you go and watch other games, whether it be to watch other players, to watch tactics, whether it to be watch anything about the game at all, even as a Football fan.

So, I don’t think people should make an awful lot into it, I go to a lot of games, I’m a Football supporter as well as a Manager and I like to go and watch other games”.

On The Possibility Of Achieving That In The Next Few Games:

“Yeah, it’s always sounds that and it’s easy to roll off your tongue and make it sound easy, but I think all the Managers in this half of the League will be thinking that there’s no easy game, every one is difficult, I’ve not really seen anything to suggest that anyone’s necessarily that much better than anybody else.

So, I think that it’s going to be nip and tuck all the way, at the moment we are in a good run, we’re doing OK, but it’s really important to keep that going because if it changes, obviously we don’t want to drop back nearer the bottom”.

On Reaching 200 Premier League Wins As A Manager:

“205 is what I’m aiming for at the moment because that would mean that West Ham are definitely in the Premier League and if I can get another five Premier League wins then I’m sure that would be enough to keep us up”.

On Whether He Is Expecting A High-Scoring Game Against The Cherries:

“I think that Bournemouth have got a good attacking style which always gives them a chance of scoring, I think we’ve got good attacking players which gives us a great chance of scoring as well, the last game was strange, we were a bit unlucky in the end not to win it because of a Referee’s decision.

But, they would have also said they had better chances and they could have won it before us, so it was a strange game”.

On The Carroll Rumours:

“Well he deserves it (column inches) because over the years he’s been a handful to play against, he’s probably a little bit of a dying breed of centre-forwards, who are hard to play against and offer something different.

But, we said all along, we received no official offer from Chelsea for a loan deal, we wouldn’t have accepted it anyway as we’ve said, so I think I’ve nearly said as much as I can on it, unfortunately, Andy’s injured, more importantly for me because he scored two great goals against West Brom a couple of weeks ago and for us to lose him takes away a big part of our armory”.

On Andy Carroll’s Injury:

“Well, we only found out yesterday, he went for a scan and it showed up that he’s got a problem there, we are not quite sure at the moment if he’s gonna need an operation or not and we’re getting two or three more people, Specialists to have a look at it to get other opinions and then we will be able to make the correct decision”.

On Injury News:

“Chicharito looks as if he’s recovered from Flu, he’s trained today, Andre Ayew is just feeling his hamstring a little bit so I will need to assess it tomorrow, apart from that, Declan Rice had a problem with his hamstring in midweek but I think he’ll be OK, he’s done a bit of training today so we hope he’ll be OK.

Kouyate has trained today, so we’re hoping that Kouyate will be fit, Kouyate is back, Winston Reid at the moment is not training yet”.
