Enner Valencia – Everton
Introduced in the 81st minute, the forward was able to grab a late consolation goal as Everton lost 3-2 away at Tottenham. It is unlikely to grant him a start in the coming weeks, but being able to make an impact from the bench will surely bring him more minutes in future.
Tony Martinez – Oxford United
The forward played the full game in Oxford’s 2-0 home loss to Bristol Rovers but was unable to score. It was not an impressive performance for the play off hopefuls and this result puts a big dent in their promotion chances.
Josh Cullen – Bradford City
The midfielder played the full game in his side’s 1-0 home win against Peterborough. He did have a chance to scored during the game but Bradford’s earlier goal was enough to claim the three points. In midweek he also played 90 minutes at home to MK Dons, a game which ended 2-2.
Martin Samuelsen – Peterborough
Samuelsen came on as a 74th minute substitute in the Bradford match but he could not change the fortunes of his sides. He received a booking for a bad foul after 5 minutes of play. He was an unused substitute for the midweek trip to Millwall where Peterborough lost 1-0.
Jaanai Gordon – Newport County
Following his red card in the previous game, Gordon was not amongst the starting line for Newport’s 4-0 loss at home to struggling Leyton Orient.
Marcus Browne and Reece Burke (Wigan) did not feature where as George Dobson (Walsall) was an unused substitute.
