West Ham completed the signing of Jarrod Bowen from Hull City for around £22 million (Sky Sports), and the 23-year-old took to Twitter in reaction to his move to east London.

The Hammers desperately needed to bolster their attacking options. And Bowen should be just what they need.

The talented attacker has been on fire for Hull in the Championship this season. He has racked up 16 goals and seVen assists in 29 appearances (Who Scored).

Bowen is someone who likes to run at his opponents, with an average of 1.8 dribbles in 29 league outings for Hull this season. He has also been fouled 1.5 times per game (Who Scored).

If he can translate his Championship form to the Premier League, West Ham will have one very good player on their hands.

Especially for the reported fee of just £22 million.

The Hammers have a vital game against Brighton today. And unfortunately for them, Bowen was not registered in time to play.

West Ham are in all sorts of trouble at the moment. They are currently level on points with 19th placed Watford.

Bowen’s arrival at the London Stadium should give them the boost they need to avoid the drop, however.

And the 23-year-old took to Twitter after completing his move to West Ham, suggesting that he can’t wait to get started with his new club:
