West Ham United fans are sick of hearing Jack Wilshere whine following his departure from the club.

Haller will never get a better chance to silence West Ham doubters after Klopp ‘shock’

The injury-prone midfielder had his West Ham contract terminated by mutual consent on deadline day.

And he has not stopped moaning, complaining and criticising the Hammers since.

Listening to Wilshere you would think he had been super fit and in top form waiting for a chance to explode on the scene for West Ham for the last two years.

Indeed in one of the plethora of interviews Wilshere has done since his West Ham departure, he claimed to have been fit for the last eight months.

‘I just had to get out of there’

Well four months of that were spent in lockdown so is irrelevant.

But he also contradicted his own previous comments that he had used lockdown to GET fit (whufc.com).

So which is it Jack?

Wilshere has been at it again this week with an interview on Sky Sports. The highlights?

“I just had to get out of there.”

“I was probably getting to that point, if I had stayed another year, where it would have been really tough mentally to come back from.”

No respect for club that paid him over £10m for little in return

West Ham paid Wilshere over £10million in wages in two years before his contract termination – which in itself would have involved a large lump sum.

All that for 18 games, many as a substitute.

The fact of the matter is Wilshere could not get himself or keep himself fit for any extended period at West Ham.

It is the unfortunate story of the undoubtedly talented midfielder’s career.

And Wilshere simply wasn’t good enough, strong enough or mobile enough to play ahead of Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek when he was fit after lockdown.

David Moyes wants young, powerful, energetic players in his new-look Hammers side. Wilshere ticks none of those boxes.

A month has passed and no club has stepped in to snap Wilshere up yet. Premier League squads have been submitted so his options are now limited until January.

We wish you the best but stop the whining Jack

Not wanted by Arsenal, not wanted by Bournemouth – who were offered the chance to take him after a spell on loan – and not wanted by his boyhood club West Ham.

Now seemingly not wanted by Premier League clubs, even on a free transfer.

Wilshere is the common denominator here. Perhaps he needs to start looking at himself before throwing stones and criticising a club that paid him millions for very little in return.

Of course no player wants to be injured. And hopefully Wilshere can resurrect his career.

But he is showing West Ham a lack of respect and the fans are tired of hearing him whine.
