West Ham ace Aaron Cresswell scored an absolutely brilliant free-kick against Manchester United today.
And Gary Lineker took to Twitter in reaction to the left-back’s 30-yard screamer.
The Hammers were leading 1-0 with just six minutes remaining, before the 29-year-old secured the points for the east London outfit.
West Ham now sit in fifth place in the Premier League table. And there is a feeling that today’s win was a huge one for them mentally.
The best part about the Hammers’ display was their defensive performance. They defended superbly as a unit, and Cresswell really stepped up to the plate.
He will be absolutely delighted with his overall display, and his wonder goal was the icing on the cake.
The 29-year-old filled in for the suspended Arthur Masuaku, and he surely did enough to keep his place for next weekend’s trip to Bournemouth. For now though, he can just bask in the glory of scoring a truly incredible goal.
Lineker took to Twitter after the match, and praised Cresswell’s stunning strike…
