West Ham are currently in the midst of an absolutely woeful run of form.
The Hammers have fallen down from third spot to 17th place in the Premier League table, just three points clear of the drop zone.
Serious questions are being asked of Manuel Pellegrini. Is he good enough to turn things around?
The early signs seem to suggest that he might have lost the West Ham dressing room.
The Chilean continues to stick with the same team, the same formation and the same stale, tired ideas and philosophies.
Next up for the east London outfit is a tough looking trip to Chelsea on Saturday.
And if the Hammers are to have any chance of taking a positive result away from Stamford Bridge, Pellegrini must make some changes.
Here are five players the West Ham boss should drop for the clash with the Blues:
Roberto
The less sad about the Spaniard the better. He’s quite simply shocking and just not good enough. Enough said.
Sebastien Haller
The Frenchman has been in woeful form of late. He has scored just one goal in his last 10 games, and he really does need to be taken out of the firing line.
Pellegrini doesn’t trust Albian Ajeti, so if he did decide to drop Haller, he could use Michail Antonio as an auxiliary striker.
Felipe Anderson
The Brazilian’s form has dipped drastically this season, and he should have been dropped some time ago.
Pellegrini could bring in a youngster like Nathan Holland, or use Robert Snodgrass or Michail Antonio in place of Anderson.
Aaron Cresswell
The left-back returned to form around September time, but he has once again struggled in recent weeks, and now is surely the time to bring Arthur Masuaku back into the fold.
Cresswell lacks any kind of pace, and he has been exposed far too often recently.
Andriy Yarmolenko
The Ukraine international started the season in fine form for West Ham, but he has gone off the boil recently.
Yarmolenko was shocking against Spurs last week, and he needs to realise that he is far from guaranteed a starting spot in Pellegrini’s side.
And whilst making changes will not guarantee a result against Chelsea, it will at least freshen things up.
West Ham’s performances have been unacceptable of late. And Pellegrini must show some courage by changing things up against Frank Lampard’s men.
