West Ham winger Michail Antonio became the first opposition player to net at Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium. And his historical feat was not his first in that category.

Antonio was also West Ham’s first Premier League goalscorer at The London Stadium, as well as scoring in the final game at Upton Park.

After netting in the final game at The Boleyn Ground, Antonio ensured that the new stadium opened in style.

The popular fan favourite is making a habit of this and now has three historical records to his name. His goal at Spurs completed a historic hat-trick.

West Ham signed off from their old home in style, beating Manchester United 3-2 at Upton Park. Goals from Diafra Sakho, Antonio and Winston Reid saw the Hammers over the line.

Antonio scored a powerful header from a Dimitri Payet free-kick in the second half. This goal levelled the scores before Reid’s dramatic late winner.

Antonio scored West Ham’s first goal in the Premier League after the move to the old Olympic Stadium. In the home match against Bournemouth, Antonio headed in a late winner for the Hammers.

West Ham had already played a handful of games at The London Stadium, including the Europa League match against NK Domzale and a friendly against Juventus.

But the Irons were desperate to get off to a winning start at The London Stadium. Antonio made that possible, powering in a back-post header from forgotten man Gokhan Tore’s cross.

Antonio took the role of history boy again when West Ham travelled to Tottenham Hotspur’s new home. Knowing they could make history, West Ham raised their game for the London derby.

Once again, the score was 1-0 with Antonio getting on the scoresheet. He controlled Marko Arnautovic’s flighted pass before rattling in past Hugo Lloris.

Antonio gave fans another great celebration to mark the historic moment that he became the first player to score an away goal against Tottenham.

And his goal was enough to earn West Ham all three points as the club became the first to beat Spurs in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
