West Ham take on Crystal Palace today in the Premier League.
The Hammers have been really poor this season, but Michail Antonio’s recent form has been cause for some Christmas cheer.
So with that in mind, it was extremely worrying to read reports that the 29-year-old crashed his Lamborghini last night (Claret and Hugh).
West Ham insider ExWHUemployee has moved to ease those fears, however, confirming that Antonio is fine and is still part of the group that will head to Selhurst Park today:
It is true that Antonio’s Lamborghini was involved in an accident earlier! He is fine and despite rumours of his arrest this is not true. It was just an accident and he is with the squad preparing for the game tomorrow⚒

And that is absolutely superb news.
The Hammers desperately need a win against the Eagles.
They currently sit in 16th spot in the Premier League table, just four points clear of the relegation zone. They are also just a couple of wins away from the top half, however.
So their next few games could end up defining their campaign.
A win today against Palace would set West Ham up perfectly for back-to-back home games against Bournemouth and Leicester City respectively.
And having Antonio available today will make their task a whole lot easier.
