ExWHUemployee has confirmed that Michail Antonio’s absence against Bournemouth today was because of a hamstring injury.
The 29-year-old has history with his hamstring.
He missed around three months or so earlier this season after injuring his hamstring at the end of August.
Antonio has proven just how important he is to West Ham over the past few weeks. So David Moyes will be severely disappointed that the former Nottingham Forest man misses out today.
The English attacker has pace and power in abundance and the worry for the Hammers is that when he isn’t playing they are really lacking in those particular departments.
Moyes will be hoping that Felipe Anderson can find some form during Antonio’s absence.
The Brazilian looked to be back to somewhere near his best on Saturday against Leicester, and he will certainly need to up his game over the next couple of weeks.
ExWHUemployee claimed that Antonio could be set to miss the FA Cup clash with Gillingham this weekend as well as the Premier League clash with Sheffield United the following week:
