They don’t come much bigger or more important than this one for the Hammers.
The results last night means West Ham now sit level on points with 19th placed Watford. And with a torrid fixture list lying in wait for the east London outfit, relegation down to the Championship is starting to look like a very real possibility.
Leicester, meanwhile, have been excellent this season. The Foxes are currently sitting in third position. Brendan Rodgers’ men are in a great position to qualify for the Champions League.
And the Hammers will have to be on their very best form tonight, if they are to take a positive result away from the east Midlands.
On the face of it, a point might be considered a good result for West Ham, but in truth, that might not be enough, with trips to Manchester City and Liverpool, as well as a home game against the rampant Reds all to come in their next four league games.
A win really would mean everything for David Moyes’s side tonight.
The games kicks off at 19:30 and can be seen exclusively live on BT Sport.
