Charlie Nicholas believes Burnley will beat West Ham in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Sky Sports pundit also outlined how disappointed he has been with two of their key men so far this season.

The Hammers are in a really poor run of form at the moment. A run of just two points from their last five league games has seen them slump to 13th place in the table.

Everything seems to be going wrong for Manuel Pellegrini’s men. They are slow and laboured in their attacking play. And their defence looks fragile and disorganised.

Things don’t get any easier for West Ham. They face a tough trip to Turf Moor to take on Burnley on Saturday, and Sean Dyche’s side are always incredibly hard to play against.

Nicholas told Sky Sports how he believes the Hammers will struggle against the Clarets, highlighting how disappointing Manuel Lanzini and Felipe Anderson have been lately:

“They are a talented side but Felipe Anderson and Manuel Lanzini have not produced thus far. Robert Snodgrass has been their best player over the last couple of weeks. They need to supply Sebastian Haller with early crosses and they could get somewhere, but it will back to basics for Burnley.”

If West Ham do in fact lose against Burnley, Manuel Pellegrini will be under real pressure.

The Hammers will have to be on their very best form, if they are to beat the Clarets, and the Chilean will surely make a whole host of changes from last weekend’s defeat to Newcastle United.
