According to a report from the Sun, Tottenham are winning the race to sign West Ham-linked Queens Park Rangers starlet Eberechi Eze.

The Sun claimed earlier this year that the Hammers want to sign the 21-year-old QPR ace.

But Tottenham are now favourites to sign the midfielder, according to the Sun.

Eze has been in absolutely incredible form for the west London outfit this season.

He has racked up 12 goals and eight assists in 37 Championship outings for QPR (Transfermarkt).

In those outings, the 21-year-old has averaged 2.4 shots, 1.9 key passes and three dribbles per game (Who Scored).

Eze has averaged 36.3 passes per game, with a very impressive completion rate of 86.4% (Who Scored).

The QPR ace is clearly an incredible talent, and if he continues to improve, he might just go on to become a truly elite player.

The Sun claims that Tottenham are now in prime position to sign Eze.

And that is bad news for West Ham.

What with his energy, power and eye for goal, the 21-year-old would have been an excellent addition to the Hammers’ squad.

But if the Sun are to be believed, West Ham look set to miss out on Eze to their bitter rivals Tottenham.
