West Ham ace Andriy Yarmolenko suggested that he is still not quite at 100 per cent, when speaking exclusively to the club’s official website.

The Ukrainian joined the Hammers from Borussia Dortmund in the summer 0f 2018 for around £17.5 million.

His debut season in England was ruined by injury, however. Yarmolenko made just 10 appearances for West Ham before he was ruled out from October until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old has returned to action in fine form this term, however. He has racked up three goals in six Premier League outings for the Hammers so far.

And it is obvious that he will be a real asset for the east London outfit this season.

Yarmolenko spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, and suggested that there is still a lot more still to come from him:

“Of course right now I feel really good, whereas before, I was having to work really hard, every day, every month [to recover]. I am happy because I love this game. Football is really important in my life, and right now I am really enjoying my time at this club. I’m happiest when I’m playing my best football. Of course, it’s not my hundred per cent [right now], but I feel it’s coming.”

The prospect of Yarmolenko getting even better will be a really exciting one for West Ham fans.

The Premier League is finally seeing the best of the Ukrainian, but judging by his comments, there is a lot more still to come from him.
