West Ham United ace Jesse Lingard produced a top class performance against Arsenal yesterday.

In other news…Report: West Ham already have agreement in place to sign Napoli ace in the summer

It was a huge shame that the Hammers failed to take all three points from their clash with the Gunners.

There were some positives, however. And Jesse Lingard was certainly one of them.

The 28-year-old joined the Hammers on loan from Manchester United in January.

And my word, what a sensational signing he has already proven to be.

Lingard has five goals and two assists to his name in seven appearances for West Ham thus far.

West Ham fans will be praying that Jesse’s loan deal is made permanent in the summer.

Jesse Lingard stood out for West Ham

He was in sensational form against Arsenal yesterday.

Lingard scored a goal and registered an assist against the Gunners. He also had 44 touches, made one key pass, registered a 75% pass completion rate, made two dribbles, completed one cross and made five ball recoveries (Who Scored).

It’s such a shame that his fine display wasn’t accompanied by what would have been a huge three points.

Oh well. On to the next one – Wolves away in a couple of weeks.

And Jesse Lingard will once again have to be on his very best form if we are to have any chance whatsoever of beating the Black County outfit.
