'What a great Sunday' - West Ham ladies thrash Millwall to cap perfect day

West Ham rounded off the perfect Sunday as the ladies team battered Millwall in the cup.

Before West Ham’s men claimed their first victory of the season against Everton at Goodison Park, the ladies team had already won.

In the FA Continental Cup fixture at Rush Green, West Ham ladies brushed Millwall aside with a 4-0 win.

Three goals in the opening 12 minutes all but wrapped up the victory and West Ham could easily have scored more.

But they had to settle for just the four goals against a club widely regarded to be the Hammers’ biggest rivals.

Esmee De Graaf opened and closed the scoring with Brianna Visalli and Rosie Kmita also getting on the score sheet. It was a comprehensive win for the ladies’ side.
