All the key dates for West Ham United have been revealed after the Premier League fixtures were announced.

The new schedule was revealed at 9am on Thursday morning.

West Ham go into their fourth season at their new London Stadium home.

It is Manuel Pellegrini’s second season at the helm as he looks to challenge for the European spots.

Wait is over for fixtures

As ever there was much hype and anticipation among West Ham fans ahead of the fixture list being published.

Here are all the key dates and games for West Ham for the 2019/20 campaign.

All games are subject to change once the first wave of fixtures have been selected for TV in the coming weeks.

Opening day

West Ham are at home on the opening day (August 10) against top opposition yet again as they face champions Manchester City.

The collective sigh among West Ham fans was audible.

But at the end of the day you have to play everyone twice so why not get them out of the way early. It will do nothing to quell the conspiracy theories doing the rounds, though.

Boxing Day

There has been much speculation and anger among supporters over rumours of a secret deal with Westfield to ensure West Ham do not play home games at the London Stadium on what is one of the busiest shopping days of the year.

The Hammers have not played a Boxing Day home game in the three years since moving to Stratford.

And that is the case yet again as they travel to London rivals Crystal Palace on December 26.

New Year

West Ham are at home on New Year’s Day, though, starting 2020 with a game against Bournemouth.

Before and after the new winter break

West Ham face a tough schedule before and after the new winter break in February.

They will play Brighton at home on February 1 and will play Manchester City away on either February 8 or 15 before a trip to Liverpool on February 22.

The two-week break will either start on the 8th or the 2nd.

Last game of the season

The Hammers end the season as they start with a home game at the London Stadium against Aston Villa on May 17.
