When speaking to reporters on Friday, West Ham United boss David Moyes took a swipe at the Premier League for the way in which they have recently scheduled games, as quoted by the Evening Standard.

The Scot also pointed the finger at the shocking recent red card decisions that have gone against the Hammers.
It does seem as though West Ham have been on the wrong end of some awful decisions this season on the pitch.
And the scheduling of games recently hasn’t made it easy on us either.
We are the last to play again this week with our game against Burnley scheduled for 20:15 tomorrow night.
Since February, only once have we been the first to play out of the top four challengers.
David Moyes takes swipe at the Premier League
The smaller clubs often have to fight against the grain to gatecrash the top four.
The so-called big six always seem to get decisions given in their favour.
And Moyes told reporters how something doesn’t seem quite right, as quoted by the Evening Standard:
“It’s probably as unlucky as having five of the last eight sendings-off rescinded. So, if you think of that as well, West Ham are quite often one of the least to be thought about. I look at this and I certainly see, from when I first came into the club, things that are not right. For a lot of the early part of the season we got our results in early but it looks as though we’re slipping back into Monday night – 8.15pm at Burnley. As you can imagine, the lateness of returning back from the north on a Monday. But we have to do it like everyone else.”
Moyes continued his dig at the Premier League by saying:
“There has just been a general feeling. Maybe I’m wrong, I would accept that. The stats regarding the sending-offs makes me think, ‘hang on a minute here, there’s something not quite right’. I’ll stand corrected if you turn around and say all the other clubs in the Premier League have had the same stat. They can’t surely be right, the numbers that we’ve had are so poor. Maybe all the teams in the Premier League have had similar stats and if they have then I take it back and apologise. There are so many clubs who have been disappointed with the timings. You would hope that they had been fair with everybody.”
Moyes is spot on.
If West Ham do crack the top four this season, we would have done it the hard way.
Fighting against the so-called elite clubs seems like an impossible battle sometimes.
And we’re proud that we have a manager who is willing to put his neck on the line by challenging the injustices that are so obviously clear for everyone to see.
