West Ham winger Nathan Holland has admitted that he is not thinking about anything other than playing football at the moment, the club’s official website reports.
Holland has been tipped to make a first-team breakthrough in the near future with some fans even calling for him to receive a promotion before the end of this season.
The ex-Everton winger has been pictured training with the first-team but his only focus is getting under-23 minutes under his belt.
It has been a frustrating campaign for Holland on both an individual and team level. The under-23 side are in a relegation scrap and he missed a chunk of the season with an injury.
This might have cost him the chance to make his debut against Macclesfield Town in the EFL Cup as he was arguably ahead of Grady Diangana in the pecking order at the time.
Nathan Holland on his aims

The 20-year-old winger has returned from injury and is a star performer in the under-23 team, providing goals, assists and excitement from the flank.
But Holland’s sole focus is on picking up game time and enjoying his football when he plays.
Holland said: “I’ve played quite a few for the U23s this season now and I’m really enjoying my football. I’m not thinking about anything else other than that really, at the moment.
“I’m very happy and playing my football and I feel like I am playing well.”
Nathan Holland on playing with Jack Wilshere

Holland recently featured in an under-23 match alongside Jack Wilshere. The ex-Arsenal midfielder is returning from an injury and Holland said his quality was clear to see.
He added: “He’s a player with so much ability on the ball and it makes a difference having him in the side with you. He has so much quality and it was good for us to have him in the team.
“He has the ability to be able to spot great passes and for a winger like me, that’s always nice to have somebody who can pick out your run because his thinking is quicker than so many of the opponents’. It was great to play with Jack and hopefully he can continue with his recovery in a positive way.”
