West Ham United star Lukasz Fabianski has moved to try and allay fears he has suffered a setback in his return from injury.
The Hammers goalkeeper has been missing since picking up a serious injury in the draw at Bournemouth in September.
He is expected to be out until January.
In his absence West Ham have spiralled into complete freefall.

Manuel Pellegrini’s hapless number two Roberto Jimenez has been directly at fault for at least one goal in every single match he has played since then.
Without a win in seven games stretching over two months, West Ham have dropped like a stone from third in the Premier League to 16th.
Supporters took to social media this week to voice their concern after a rumour circulated that Fabianski had suffered a setback in his injury comeback.
Speaking to the club’s official website this week Fabianski appeared to indirectly address those claims.
And while he said he is on track, the Poland star admitted he is at ‘big risk’ of re-injuring himself.

“I’m feeling like the rehab is going in the right direction, in the right way,” Fabianski told whufc.com.
“The biggest mistake in my case would be to try to rush thing because there would be a big chance of it happening again so, with injuries like that, you have to be really careful about it.
“I don’t want to rush; I just want to take my time and make sure I come back in the right way, not only physically but from the goalkeeping point of view, which is important.”
Nervy times for West Ham fans
The comments will have supporters understandably nervy.
West Ham fans knew Fabianski was one of, if not the, most important player at the club.
But never did they imagine they would miss him so much.
It could even be argued his injury and the subsequent downturn, could end up costing Pellegrini his job.
