It was West Ham Re-United on Friday night as the 2019 Soccer Sixes took place in Scotland.

England, Wales, Scotland, Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and a Rest of the World side entered squads for the masters style six-a-side indoor tournament.
And there was plenty to interest West Ham fans with no fewer than 10 ex-Hammers involved in the televised competition, which runs until Sunday.

West Ham well represented at tournament

West Ham had four representatives in the England team with Joe Cole, Wayne Bridge, Paul Konchesky and David James involved.
There was another four former Hammers in the Wales team too with Danny Gabbidon, Jack Collison, Craig Bellamy and James Collins involved.
There were two more ex West Ham heroes on show for Northern Ireland and Scotland in the shape of midfield duo Michael Hughes and Don Hutchinson.

10 Hammers with nearly 1,000 appearances

The 10 players amassed a stunning total of 993 appearances for West Ham.
Many of them played for the Hammers over two spells like Joe Cole, James Collins, Don Hutchinson and Michael Hughes.
Cole in particular rolled back the years showing off his trademark skills.

More Hammers links

They were not the only players involved with West Ham links either.
Luke Young comes from a family of West Ham fans and the Hammers were his boyhood club. His young brother Jake also played for the club’s academy.
Darren Bent, also in the England team, has a soft spot for West Ham too. His granddad was a big Hammer according to Bent in past interviews.
Soccer Sixes is being broadcast on Sky Sports throughout the weekend.
