West Ham captain Mark Noble scored twice to help the club finish the season on a high with a win away at Watford.

The Hammers thrashed Watford 4-1 at Vicarage Road with Noble scoring a brace. This lifted West Ham into the top half of the table.

Noble’s recent form has been impressive. The 32-year-old, who celebrated his birthday in the week, took his tally to five goals and five assists for the season with these two strikes.

The skipper took his first goal well. Picking the ball up from deep, Noble played a one-two with Michail Antonio before driving at the Watford defence, beating his man and slotting into the bottom corner.

In the second half, Noble proved to be Mr Reliable from the spot. The East Londoner’s record from the penalty spot is impressive and he confidently dispatched his effort against Watford.

Sending Ben Foster the wrong way, Noble put the Irons 4-1 up towards the end of the game. He now has 56 goals in 467 appearances for West Ham.
