ExWHUemployee has claimed that Queens Park Rangers ace Eberechi Eze is keen to join West Ham this summer.

It has been widely reported that Hammers boss David Moyes has to sell before he can buy this summer. And if he does move on some of the deadwood, it would be no surprise to see him swoop in for Eze.

West Ham have been chasing the talented 22-year-old since January (The Sun).

The QPR ace was in sensational form in the Championship last season.

Stats

He racked up 14 goals and eight assists in 46 Championship outings for QPR (Transfermarkt).

In those outings, Eze has averaged 2.2 shots, 1.8 key passes and three dribbles per game (Who Scored).

The England under-21 international really does have everything – pace, power, stamina and exceptional vision. He also has an uncanny knack of finding space in tight areas.

Eze would clearly be a superb signing for West Ham. But the problem for Moyes is that he  will have to spend around £20 million in order to bring him to the London Stadium this summer (The Sun).

ExWHUemployee has claimed that the 22-year-old is keen to join the Hammers, however, when speaking on the West Ham Way podcast (Wednesday August 12th):

“Eze is still a priority, if we can get some money from the sales of other midfielders like Anderson and Lanzini. The player wants to come to us as well, which is good.”

Let’s just hope that Ex is right, as he almost always is, and Eze does in fact want to join West Ham.

With Crystal Palace keen on the 22-year-old as well (The Sun), his alleged preference to move to the London Stadium should put the Hammers in a strong position.

The east London club just need to find the funds first in order to make an acceptable offer to QPR for the talented ace.
