Crystal Palace have made the first move to sign alleged West Ham target Ryan Fraser, offering the free agent a £50k-a-week deal, according to the Daily Mail (Live transfer feed, August 5th, 10:58).
So if Hammers boss David Moyes wants to bring the Scotland international to the London Stadium, he had better act fast.
According to ExWHUemployee, West Ham are keen to sign the 26-year-old on a free transfer this summer.
The Hammers may need to bolster their attacking ranks this summer.
ExWHUemployee has claimed that Felipe Anderson, Andriy Yarmolenko, Albian Ajeti and Manuel Lanzini could all be sold this summer.
And with money tight at the London Stadium, signing Ryan Fraser on a free transfer seems to be the ideal move for Moyes.
But the Daily Mail claims that Crystal Palace have already offered the fleet-footed winger a £50k-a-week deal. So West Ham need to get their business in order if they are to bring him to east London.
The 26-year-old racked up one goal and four assists in 32 games for the Cherries this season (Transfermarkt).
Those numbers are hardly impressive. The Scotland international was on fire the season before, however, with seven goals and 14 assists in 38 Premier League outings for the south coast outfit (Transfermarkt).
If Fraser manages to rediscover that form, he would be an excellent addition for West Ham.
But as things stand, it seems as though Palace stand in their way.
