When West Ham United left their beloved Upton Park home of 112 years the idea was to challenge the top six.
Co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold pledged the big move to Stratford would help push the club to the next level.
The reality has been two torrid seasons flirting with relegation.
And the third is threatening to follow the same trend if Manuel Pellegrini’s three defeats from three Premier League games so far are anything to go by.
The Hammers look a long way off challenging the top six.
But a new report has them gatecrashing the elite, for all the wrong reasons.

Top six, but for the wrong reasons
That’s because according to an investigation by talkSPORT, West Ham are one of the most expensive clubs in the top flight for a pie and a pint.
The pie and a pint. An age-old English footballing tradition.
And one that has become increasingly costly at football grounds across the country.
The Hammers are in the top six when it comes to the cost of a pie and a pint.
At the London Stadium that will set you back £8.30.
That is nearly £2 more than the cheapest, Huddersfield Town, and more than Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City too.
Only Tottenham Hotspur and Watford (£8.50), Manchester United and Arsenal (£8.40) are more expensive than West Ham who are joint with Brighton in fifth/sixth.

Fans can stomach prices if owners keep splashing the cash
West Ham fans have struggled to take to their new surroundings at the former Olympic Stadium.
The distance from the stands to the pitch is a major bone of contention for fans.
But the matchday experience has also been raised as an issue by supporters.
The cost of going to the football for the average fan has spiralled in recent years particularly in the Premier League.
West Ham’s situation is complicated by the fact they must surrender a percentage of their earnings from catering at the new stadium to the landlords.
Of course most fans won’t mind paying a bit extra for their half-time grub if the owners continue to splash the cash in the transfer market as they did in the summer.
